Pure love between my emotional support dog and me.
This is a blog about my random thoughts, my life as a wife and working mother, my happiness, my occasional sadness, and everything in between.

This weekend we did a flash trip to Boulder, to visit Sofia. We flew in Thursday morning and went straight to Maisonette, the coffee shop where she works. After that we walked around Pearl street for a bit. On Friday she had to go to class, so in the meantime Lionel, Bella and I went to have lunch at The Buff, and went to the bookstore on campus. After that we just did a Target run with Sofia, and dinner.
On Saturday we went to Estes for a hike. We meant to hike 3 miles, but ended up with 6 because we didn’t listen to Sofia that the hike was not a loop. It was cold, but we were properly dressed.
The trip was quick, and it is always sad to say goodbye, but it was good to know that we will see her again in two weeks. And the kicks was happy when we picked her up.

This year Halloween was a complete blur. I even forgot it was Halloween night as I was working late, trying to close out my last official day on the job. But I was happy that Sofia sent us a photo of their group costume, and to see that she was having fun. Bella was also doing her own thing. And although we didn’t do anything together, I enjoyed looking back at the memories from the previous years.

While I was in Boston saying my goodbyes I missed my dad’s birthday, so was glad to see that my parents celebrated it, even if all by themselves.

As I left the Boston Village, I got some really generous and sentimental gifts. I got a massage certificate for a place in Cincinnati, another gift certificate for Coffee Emporium, and a series of things to remember my 2 years in Boston and with the team.
