Warsaw Encore

May 19,

This week I went back to Warsaw for several days of face to face meetings with my team. It was an exhausting but very productive week, and we managed to have moments of fun. I also managed to go on not one, but three separate runs! From our team building activities my favorite was probably creating a team playlist and listening to it while we drove from Warsaw to the plant. The randomness of the songs, and anticipation of who picked what, kept everyone alert and amused. And while we were exhausted, and sleep deprived, traveling together has also a great way to accelerate getting to know each other.

Kilgour 5K 2023

May 12,

This evening Bella and her friends ran the Kilgour 5K. Apparently Bella won her age range, although she did not realize it until later and therefore she did not pick up her medal. The point was to workout and have a good time with her friends anyway, and on that it was mission accomplished.

Last ever Walnut Hills game

May 11,

While last night was Bella's last lacrosse game, tonight was the last game for the seniors - and senior night. All four of us went to watch the game, although the girls sat with their friends. After essentially 6 full years watching lacrosse at Walnut Hills, I am glad we did not miss out on the last game, even if Sofia was no longer playing.  We spent a ton of time on that field, so it was nice to say one last good bye.

Bella's last lacrosse game

May 10,

Tonight was Bella's last lacrosse game of the season, and therefore also her very last game with Walnut Hills. We had warm weather, which was great. Nobody wants to say good bye in gray, freezing weather.

Car and dogs

May 7,

With trying to sell our house it seems like our newest routine is to get the dogs in the car, park across the street, and wait for the potential buyers to check it out. Zoey's face shows exactly how we all feel about this whole routine.
