This morning I went to get a massage, and while I was waiting I noticed this magazine among the bunch. It is not every day that I find a Spanish magazine around here, so I just had to take a picture of it.

Like father like daughter. These two were as happy as can be with their iPads, sitting on the couch.

Evening run

Today, since I had already left work early to go to my dentist appointment, I decided to go for a quick run before it got dark outside. I ran 4 miles, and I got back to my car just in time.

Colgate

This afternoon I left work early to go to my dentist appointment. At the end of my appointment they gave me the typical sample size toothpaste and toothbrush. The funny thing is that they were Colgate ... not the brand my company makes.

One more

Today I picked up an additional project at work. The fact that I picked up an additional project, on top of an already full workload, doesn't really bother me that much. But the fact that I probably won't even be thanked for it, kind of does. So tonight, in order to get pass my initial disappointment, I had to have some of this.

Life as a rehearsal

Yesterday I was watching Bella during her dance class as they were practicing the routine they are learning - probably in preparation for their recital. While I was sitting there, it occurred to me that a big chunk on our life is kind of a rehearsal. The training for a marathon is like a rehearsal for the race day. The school year is like a rehearsal in preparation for final exams. College is like a rehearsal in preparation for our life at work. And it goes on, and on, and on.
