Today Bella had a home lacrosse game and Lionel and I went to see it. It was cold again, but again it was like the girls did not feel it. At least this time around Bella did have long sleeves - especially as she had to take a 2 minute break on the sidelines after she fouled some girl from the other team. This time around did not win, but Bella did score which is always a plus.

At work they decided to create a pickle ball club, and I decided that why not! Today we had our first session, after work, and I had lots of fun. Having played tennis in the past, I was also not bad - especially for a beginner. I will definitely go back.

Today Bella finally had a lacrosse game close enough that we could go see it. They played against Framingham. The other team was not very good, so they won by a lot. It was also really cold, and we were amazed at how Bella and the other girls were just running around in tank tops. We also took Kika, at Lionel's suggestion, and she behaved okay-ish.

Today there was a solar eclipse and I went down to see it with some of my coworkers. It was not a full eclipse in Boston, but we still did not want to miss it. Before that I also took a walk right after lunch, because it felt like I needed it.

This week I got to go back to Cincinnati for a work event. Since I had to pay for the flight, and was not paying for hotel, I went for the whole work week. The weather was beautiful upon arrival, and I drove around Hyde Park to see our old house and go to Ault Park. I also got to see my parents, some friends, and some co-workers. And of course, a stop by Coffee Emporium was a must. It was a great week.

My sweet Zoey came back to us quickly. She is now resting in the living room, on the shelf, next to a colorful ceramic doggy (an alebrije) I got in her honor when I was in Mexico. We also received a beautiful bouquet of flowers that unfortunately did not have a card, so we were unable to say thanks to whomever sent it to us. And we got some orange roses from Chewy.com after I informed them I needed to cancel Zoey's medicine subscription because she passed away. They simply have the best customer service.
