The spring is finally starting to show up in Boston. We have been eagerly waiting for it.
This is a blog about my random thoughts, my life as a wife and working mother, my happiness, my occasional sadness, and everything in between.

I don't know how it is possible, but my Sofia turns 20 today. I love her and miss her so much, and I wish I could have spent the day with her. But it makes me happy that she had a good day with her friends. And she knows that, even if far away, we were thinking of her.

The weather has continued to be pretty rainy, cloudy, and messy. And this morning was no exception. I had to walk Kika in the cold rain. Thankful for my waterproof ski jacket.

Things have been extra stressful as of late, so today was a much deserved chill day. I went out for lunch with a group of coworkers, and then we took an hour mental break in the afternoon. We played uno and another board game. It was a much needed and deserved break. I think the others needed it as much as I did.

This afternoon Bella had a lacrosse game at her school, so I left work early to be able to make it there. The day started really cold, but luckily by the afternoon it had warmed up some. I still needed a hat and a jacket, but at least I did not need the really long one. I had it in my car just in case, but I did not need to take it out.
Worcester ended up losing 14-17, but it was a good game. Bella played most of the time, and scored once. She said the other team is very good, and her school was not expected to win, so she was ok with the loss and was in a good mood afterward.

I was trying not to wear my winter hats anymore, since it is almost mid-April, but the weather is not letting us move on. Since the office is close to the water, the wind is particularly bad.

Under my expert mom guidance, Bella successfully paralleled parked today for the very first time. And at the first try!
