Today was Bella's very first soccer game as part of the Walnut Hills team. They won 5-0, and Bella got to play for a pretty good amount of time. It was ridiculously hot, so they got plenty of water breaks. I was burning up just sitting there.
Both Lionel and I went to the game, but Sofia was at work. After the game Lionel went to pick Sofia up. Bella asked to go to Yagoot and of course I said yes. After running around in the heat, that was a welcome snack.

Today was the first day of school, and Bella's first day at Walnut Hills. 7th and 11th grade.

We had ice cream, we went to the friends night reunion, we baked, we ate lunch with abuelitos, we went trail walking, we went to Bella's soccer practice, we let the dogs play around, we bought plants, and we went to an FC game.

Walnut Soccer Tryouts (Bella made the team!), cake baking, plenty of doggy time, Walnut orientation, morning runs, friend's birthday celebration, and trail walk.

And just like that, this was the last week of July. We worked, we went to see the sunset, we harvested 4 tomatoes, I went to my first conference post pandemic, we ran, we went to watch an FC Cincinnati soccer game, we went back to trail walking, and we watched some of the Olympics.
