While we were in Arizona, Sofia went to her homecoming dance. If we had known the dance would be that weekend, we would have never planned our trip for that week. But by the time the dance date was announced, the entire trip was booked.
For a little while she was debating whether or not to go and we told her it was all about what she wanted to do, that we had no expectations. She wasn't necessarily excited about it - it wasn't something she had been dreaming about by any means. I think she was more curious about it than anything. She went with her friend Lena, and her mom sent us some nice pictures.
