This week I had a conference in Las Vegas and, since it was spring break for the girls, I went there with the family in tow. During the day they hung out by themselves, while I was at the conference, but we had dinner together every night. Las Vegas is not my happy place, and I was very tired and overstimulated by the lights, the crowd, the smoke, etc. (especially after two years at home), but at least having my family there made it better. Also, Lionel enjoyed playing poker and the girls enjoyed walking around, the pool, and shopping.
