Cavity

Sofia got a cavity, so Monday morning we started the week with a 7:30 dentist appointment. Yawn...

Back to square one

Once again, as we entered a new month, the count in my running app went back to nothing. This time around I was thinking how appropriate it was to go back to nothing, since nothing is exactly what I have to show for so far in my new role.

Snow?!?

Yesterday morning, on Nov 1st, we woke up to snow. You could argue it was just flurries, but given that it stuck to the ground I am going to stick with "snow".

Halloween 2014

After having a nice and unusually warm week, the weather decided to turn very cold and rainy just in time for Halloween. Fortunately the kids didn't really care, and the celebration proceeded as planned.

Halloween at Sands

This past Friday I volunteered at Bella's classroom during the morning for their Halloween celebration. I had too much work to do as usual, and being away for the morning seemed like an impossible luxury, but I stayed up working until very late the night before to get as much done as I could. I was exhausted later in the day, but it was worth it for being able to be with her.

Outside

The last couple weeks, before this weekend, the weather had been pretty nice. So the girls enjoyed playing outside as much as they could, raking leaves in front of the house.
