Sofifi is home!

After an exciting, and fast paced semester abroad in Barcelona, Sofia came home tonight. Kika was excited, but so were the rest of us.

For her last trip of her semester abroad, Sofifi went to Croatia with her friend Sam. The photos looked beautiful, and I think it is fair to say that it was one of her favorite places to visit.
Junior Prom

Tonight was junior prom. Bella looked beautiful, but the most important thing is that she was surrounded by friends, happy, enjoying getting ready for the evening, taking photos, and essentially being part of it all. Not on the outside. Not being “othered”. Just like it should be. Just a happy girl feeling loved and living her life.
FC Encore

Today we had a work event at the FC Stadium. Cheryl was in town, among other people from Boston, so we got to hang out together. It was absolutely freezing outside, but luckily I took my big jacket with me. So while I was still cold, I was not suffering like others. We also got to take photos with one of the FC defenders, who was one of the speakers of the day.
Sofifi in Norway and Sweden

Sofifi was not particularly impressed with Norway - I guess not welcoming enough - but she did like Sweden.
Birthday!

And just like that, in the blink of an eye, our Sofifi is now an adult. It’s still weird not being able to be with her on the actual day, but no matter where she is in the world I always send her all my love. And while she wasn’t here, I still ate birthday cake in her honor.
The Zoo

Going to the zoo to see the tulips is one of the traditions I hold near and dear to my heart. I don’t have to be there too long. I just need to go see them.
This year I got Bella and my mom to go with me. The weather has been weird this spring, which probably killed most of the tulips, but we still found few good ones. And the weather was perfect to be out and about.
