November Snow

For the first time ever in the 16 years I have been living in Cincinnati, today we got some serious November snow. The fall leaves were still on the trees and all. I stayed at home with the girls, but thankfully they spent a good chunk of the day outside playing with the neighbors - which was a good thing for all involved.

Magic hat

Last week I bought Bella this hat head band at the clearance section at Target. I thought it would be fun for her to have it for New Years, but today she decided she wasn't going to wait until then.

Chiquito

It is hard to believe, but in another week Adrian will be 4 months old already. Time sure flies ... In a way it seems so long ago since my girls were that small, and at the same time I vividly remember them sleeping with their arms up just like him. Such a cutie pie.

Girls' art

Bella has been learning about North America, so this week she came home with several projects as well as with some fall crafts. Sofia no longer gets to draw or color as much in her classroom, but she still does plenty of it, whenever she gets a chance, especially in before and after care.

Pizza night

Last night it got so late while I was making the pillows that I ordered pizza for the girls and me, since Lionel was out. The pizza box had several names listed in it, including mine, which caught my eye. As it turns out, that is the name of one of their cows. Ha!

Pillows

Yesterday morning Bella said that she wanted me to make a pillow for her doll, and one for her. Sofia then said she wanted one as well. So after tennis class Bella and I went to the fabric store, where pre-kids I used to spend a lot of time, and bought fabric for our project. I then spent the entire afternoon sewing, with a bit of the girl's help. Sofia put eyes and a mouth on her doll's pillow, and both of them put their stuffing in. It was a very exhausting and long afternoon, but I was happy to do something special for them. They can now hug their pillows and remember that I made them with love.

Election day

Yesterday afternoon I squeezed voting time in between work and the girls' gymnastics class. I didn't really know much about the politicians, but there were couple things I really wanted to vote for - so I did.
