Regalos

This year I am sponsoring Christmas gifts for 2 little girls through work. Last night I wrapped all their presents, which are basically shoes and clothes. I hope they like what I got for them. I carefully chose every single thing.

Morning run

This past week was super hectic once again, and since I had to be in the office early I didn't really manage to run at all. So yesterday morning, when I finally had time for an outdoor run, I wanted to make it a long one. I was tired at the beginning, but ended up with 7 miles. It was also an usually warm December day, so strangely enough I was running around in a t-shirt instead of with 3 layers on me.

Christmas Trees

The girls are much happier in their new before and after care, and on Friday afternoons they have "cooking lessons". On Friday, when I picked them up, they mad made edible Christmas trees.

Excellence awards

Dec 11,

Last night I had the opportunity to go once again to the Excellence Awards, an event that happens at work every 2 years. The purpose is to recognize all the work people in the organization do, in several different categories. All the finalist get to attend, and the winners are announced there. This was the third time I got to attend, and not  to brag, but also the third time my team won. I had zero expectations last night, so the win was a nice surprise.

Party

Dec 6,

Tonight we hosted a dinner party with a few friends to celebrate the November birthdays in our family. Besides, it had been a while since we all got together and it was nice to see everybody to also celebrate the Holidays. Everybody had a good time, and I was particularly happy to see the girls happily running around. The kids found the Halloween Costumes, so they all dressed up and even said they were going to put together a play. They never managed to organized themselves enough for that, but they still had a good time.

Breakfast with Santa 2015

Dec 6,

Today was the Breakfast with Santa at the girls school, and somehow, between French, Tennis, and Swimming, we managed to squeeze a quick visit. The girls really wanted to go, and since this could very well be the last year for Sofia, I particularly did not want her to miss out. I did had to miss it because I had a Dr Apt, but Lionel took them in the meantime.
