We have been working non-stop for the last few days to get the house all settled, and we have made huge progress already. I'd say we are about 80% done. There is more work to do, but it is definitely looking more and more like our home. I can't wait to be fully done with the move, and just enjoy being here.

This morning I went for a 3 mile run towards Ault Park. I knew it would be hilly and brutal, but I felt like challenging myself. And a challenge it was with the heat and the humidity, but I loved the views and I managed to finish.

Tonight Sofia and I took Zoey on her very first walk around the new neighborhood. There are many more routes to choose from, so I think she is going to like it around here.

The move was absolutely brutal. It was extremely hot, the movers showed up extremely late, and they (and all of us) were working until 10:00 pm. The last piece of furniture they put together was Bella's bunk bed, but at least at the end of the process Bella (who had been worrying about the move) was all smiles. Of course after that long of a day the girls crashed fast and hard, and completely slept in this morning.

After only 3 years, today we said good bye to our Killington house. We always liked the house itself, the surrounding green areas, and the quiet street, but it was simply not the best match for us. We will cherish the good memories, hopefully forget about the bad ones, and always be grateful for our 3 years of safety, loads of space, and suburban comfort.

Tonight Sofia and I took Zoey on her very last Ivy Hills walk. It was a warm but nice evening, and all 3 of us enjoyed the sunset and our peaceful walk.

After several days of very hard work the painting is done, we have made several trips to bring stuff to the new house, and we are pretty ready for the big move in a couple of days.
