The last good bye

Last week Lionel's maternal grandma passed away. I only met her once - about 10 years ago - but it still made me very sad. Maybe I felt like that because Lionel and his mom didn't get to say good bye, maybe it was because Lionel decided not to go to France to be by his mom's side, or maybe because she didn't even have a special place where she wanted her ashes to be scattered. Regardless, may she finally rest in peace.
