Today we got up late - very late. After initially waking up at 5:00 am I managed to go back to sleep, and we all finally got up at 10:00 am! We ate a quick breakfast at home, made of yogurt and fruit we bought the night before, and went to walk around. The initial plan was to drive to Segovia, a city nearby, but after we got up so late we decided to just stay in Madrid for the day. We walked to the Palacio Real and went into the Cathedral, which was enough culture for the girls. We then went back to the Mercado de San Miguel for lunch and took the subway to the soccer stadium, an activity much better received by the two of them.
