This morning Lionel and I went for a 5 mile run. We started later than I had originally planned, at 8:00 am, so the weather had already started warming up. I briefly considered not going anymore, but I really wanted to run towards the ocean - my favorite place in the whole wide world. We ran in a sunny 75 degrees, and some humidity, so it wasn't an easy run. When I run back at home there are plenty of hills, so the elevation goes anywhere between 400 and 900 feet. Today the elevation was literally 18. Yes, 18 feet. I can't remember the last time an 18 feet elevation run kicked my butt.
This is a blog about my random thoughts, my life as a wife and working mother, my happiness, my occasional sadness, and everything in between.
