After 2 weeks of super hard work getting the house ready for the move, and one full week after the official move, the house is pretty much ready and we couldn't be happier to just enjoy it and move on with our lives. We still have boxes in the garage, especially with items from the other garage and things we had packed when we put our old house on sale, but the rest of the house is 99% done. In total this has been about a 6 month process, so we are ready for it to be done. We still have a couple of outstanding projects, like replacing the ugly stairs carpet and rebuilding the deck, but other than that we are good to go - and couldn't be happier. We are hoping we landed exactly where we belong and where we will have some peaceful years to come.
