Tonight was Sofia's High School graduation, and it was great to see her getting there happy and confident, especially with a senior year full of up and downs. And, although she may not have shown us lots of external appreciation, I want to believe that having her family there was also important to her. It was certainly very important to us.
During the ceremony she realized that she actually graduated with honors, which she was happy about. It was listed as such in the program.
There were times at the start of the year that we didn't know how we would all survive until the end, so it was a truly special milestone to get there. Now on to her next stop and a fresh start. University of Colorado at Boulder, here she comes.
