Vacation Day 5 - Another lazy day

Today was our 3rd lazy day. The morning was super rainy, but the afternoon cleared up. Sofia, Lionel, and I walked to the nearby Starbucks - but sadly it was already closed. At least we got a walk out of it.  As we all know 3 lazy days is my upper limit, so it is a good thing tomorrow we have plans.

Vacation Day 4 - Running. Chilling. Creeking. Cooking

Today was another chill sort of day. In the morning I ran on the treadmill, we hung out at the house, and in the afternoon we went to a nearby park so the kids could play on the creek. After that Sofia gave me a piano lesson and Bella and the boys made dinner for us. They made dishes from 6 countries, and even made us little passports so we could add the flags every time we tried one of the dishes. They worked very hard, for a long time. And even though the adults did lend a hand, for some of the prepping and most definitely the cleaning, they did a great job planning and sticking with it.  The flags could have turned out better (especially the Mexican one) but we will give them a free pass as making flags was very much the extra mile.

Vacation Day 2 - Connecting with Nature

This morning Bella, Lionel, and I took a walk. Bella usually does not like taking walks, but Lionel wanted to walk to Starbucks - so she came along. Tio and the boys went to soccer practice, and Sofia and Tia stayed home. 

Since I was already dressed to workout, I ran 3.5 miles after our walk. I then took a shower, we ate, chilled for a bit, and went out to Roland Park. It was super muggy, but the shade really helped.

Vacation Day 1 - Heading to Baltimore

Today we left the house a few minutes after 9:00 am to head to Baltimore. It was about an 8 hour drive, but it did not feel too bad - maybe because it was peaceful in the back seat. When we got to Tio's house Bella was very excited to see the cousins, and to do her second in-person delivery.
