Look what I found in Bella's hair yesterday, that had to come out with scissors. Luckily it was on the ends, and there wasn't drama about it.

Field day!

And while today is Bella's last day of preschool at Sands, today is also Sofia's field day. They will play games, run around outside, and learn who their teacher - and classmates - will be for next year.

And just like that, two years went by and today is Bella's last day of preschool at sands. In the fall she will come back as a kindergardener, and go from half to a full day.

Bella's end-of-the-school-year show

Today Bella's class had a show that I had mistakenly understood to be more of a teacher/student activity. But this morning, as we were getting ready for school, she asked me if I was coming to her show. In fact, she told me she wanted me to be there. I told her I didn't know at what time it was or if I could make it - still wondering if I was supposed to be there - and both Bella and Sofia told me to call Miss Mitza, Bella's teacher. I was so glad they did, because it turned out that this was definitely for the parents, and if I hadn't been there my Gordita would have been all by herself.

Sofia asked her teacher if she could come watch the show with me, and her teacher said yes. It was a very cute little show, and at the end each kid gave his mom (or dad) a beautiful flower.

I can't believe I almost missed it! 

First gymnastics class

Today the girls had their very first full on gymnastics class at a huge place called gymnastics central. They both did awesome, and I loved seeing their smiling faces throughout the entire class. I guess we are definitely going back!

Sofia Piano Recital - Spring 2014

This past Sunday Sofia had another Piano recital. Tios and abuelitos couldn't be there, but Bella, Lionel and I wouldn't miss it. At this point Sofia doesn't get nervous anymore, probably because by now she knows the setting, and she also keeps getting better and better at playing.
