One more week

The ceiling finishes and painting are done, the beam is up, and the new shelves are starting to go in. Just 3 more work days, and we will be done. Just in time to start our vacation and welcome our family for Christmas.

Survival Mode

This week I went to NYC for 1 day for a work conference. It was an exhausting week, since I also had all day working sessions Monday through Wednesday. But even though I was tired, and it is never fun leaving the family, I am glad I had the opportunity to go and learn.

Grandparents Day

Today was Grandparents day at Sands. Bella was sad that her cousins were not at the school, to celebrate together, but was happy that Abuelitos were there with her. 

Almost ready to paint

Work continued this week, and we are almost ready for paint and to install the new bookshelves.

Snow

This morning we woke up to this. It wasn't a lot, but it was snow for sure. I wish I had been able to stay in bed and just enjoy the view Vs having to get up and move on with the day.

Movie Time

Among all our weekend chores, we found the time to go see a movie this afternoon. It wasn't as good as the first one, but it was mainly for Bella and she liked it.

Progress!

The skylights were installed this week, and the dry wall went up today. There is still plenty of work left, but everything is starting to look great!
