Retirement

Yesterday was the very last day of work for several people in my company who are lucky enough to be able to retire. It makes me happy for them that they are able to reach such a milestone, but it also makes me sad for my parents who after working for decades in their corresponding jobs in Mexico have absolutely nothing to show for. I am inclined to say that "it's not fair", but as we all know life never quite is.
