Queen Bee - Getting ready!

On Friday afternoon I went to pick up my packet for the Queen Bee Half marathon, the second one ever. I knew parking would be bad, and I didn't want to mess with it, so I just went to work - Vs working from home and driving in later - and during the day walked from the office to the Expo. I was excited to have my bib on hand, which I had personalized to dedicate the race to my mom. I also ran into my friend Teresina, who was also running the half marathon. We had talked about potentially going at the same time, but decided against it because with the kids plans could always change. So it was funny that we ended up meeting after all. We truly couldn't have planned it better.
