This morning we took it easy. We didn't set an alarm, so we woke up when we were ready for it. Sofia did a bit of homework while the rest of us read or browsed the news of the day. We then eventually got up, got ready, checked out from the hotel, and went to get brunch before we drove to Vail. Lionel looked up good places for breakfast and lunch, and we ended up at a place called Snooze. It was really, really good. We all enjoyed it very much.
After brunch we drove to Vail, and lucky had no issues during the drive. There was not a lot of traffic and no bad weather either, which can really slow you down.
When we arrived in Vail the rental apartment wasn't ready, so we walked around for a little while. We couldn't get the rental skis just yet because Sofia, Lionel, and his Dad needed ski socks and those were in the suitcases. But waiting wasn't too bad. After walking around for a little while the apartment was finally ready, but the ski rental place was crazy packed. So Lionel and his Dad went to buy breakfast food, Monique stayed at the apartment, and the girls and I walked around.
Eventually we made our way back to the ski rental place, got out stuff, went out for dinner, walked back to the apartment, and crashed for the night. It wasn't even late, but we were all really tired and couldn't keep our eyes open anymore.
