This afternoon we left school and work early to catch a 5:40 flight from Cincinnati to Denver. I left work at about 1:30, went home, picked up the dog, dropped her off at the kennel, came back, and finished packing the last minute things. In the meantime Lionel picked up the girls, came home, changed real quick, and we were out the door by 3:45. We made it to the airport with no issues, and our flight left pretty much on time.
This time around we flew Frontier because it was so much cheaper than Delta, but the girls were disappointed that there were no TVs in the back of the seats, where they could choose something to watch, and I was uncomfortable because the seats couldn't recline. So that made for a bit of a longer flight. I managed to keep Bella entertained because I had a book for her, and let her borrow my kindle and my phone throughout the flight, but she definitely was getting a bit bored by the time we finally landed.
At the airport we met Lionel's parents and drove to the hotel where we were spending the night. We were all very tired by then, especially the girls, so we just ate at the hotel's restaurant instead of going back out. Unfortunately the food took a while to come out, so Bella ate only a little bit before she looked like she was about to fall asleep at the table. And Sofia wasn't far behind. The three of us came back to the room a bit before everyone else, and after changing into our pijamas, washing our faces, and brushing our teeth, we went to bed and were quickly out for the day. It was a long one!
