Movie. Walk. S'mores

Today was a nice, warm, sunny day.  Bella and I cleaned our fire pit (in matching outfits), we all ate lunch on the deck, and then she invited me to watch a movie in my room, with our mini projector. I even had my own seat assignment - VIP and everything. We then went for our family walk, she jumped on the trampoline, we had dinner, and finally made s'mores. Bella had been asking for a while, so I am glad we finally did it today.

This morning Lionel and I took Zoey for her walk, and saw a lot of chalk drawings in driveways. I guess that with being at home all the time, people have rediscovered the joy of it. I wish I had taken pictures throughout, but I only took one at the end.

Today we ate, we worked, Bella baked, we received pastries from some friends, we took our family walk, we played volleyball, FaceTimed the Eshwars, and updated the family calendar for Apr.

This morning Bella made me apples and an egg for breakfast. When I was working in my room I saw Sofia take Zoey out, and at the end of the day we all went on our family walk - our new tradition. It was nice outside. On our way back I took a quick photo of our hydrangeas coming back to life, and another one of the sun starting to come down.

Home Schooling - Day 13

Today in bullet points:

• Bella brought me yummy pancakes for breakfast
• We reached a significant milestone at work, getting us one step closer to the end of my crazy busy project
• Parents around Cincinnati were passing around - for fun and to mess with the kids - some fake news about the governor saying that all kids would have to repeat the grade they are in
• From my bedroom window I saw a crew cutting a tree. It made me sad for the tree, but I want to believe there was a good reason for it
• We took our family walk - our outing of the day. Bella protested as usual, but not for too long. I guess she knew she had to do it anyway
• During our walk we saw a dead bird and a dead mouse. We were sad for them too
• I tried to take a picture of Sofia and she made a weird face on purpose
• My seeds are sprouting
• The treadmill desk adapter I ordered, so I can work and walk at the same time, arrived in the mail today
• We made rice bows for dinner, with some fresh and yummy topings
