Lionel turns 40!

Last weekend we went out to celebrate Lionel's 40th birthday. It was a fun evening in the company of old and new friends.

Cutie

Last weekend the girls got their haircuts. For the first time Bella's hair was long enough to give her two cute little pigtails.

Learning is Cool

Sofia got this from school the other day. It is a letter that says "Congratulations on making the A honor roll during the 1st quarter". Since Sofia has gotten several Bs I am not sure if I should believe this is real. I should probably just ask her teacher one of these days.

All about Fifi

"My name is Sofia and I am 7. I go to school at Sands Montessori school. I like to play games. I have a little sister and she is a very nice girl and I play with her a lot with toys. My birthday is on April 13, 2011. I will turn 8 on it. On November 25 is my sister's birthday and I am happy about it."

No more Bella's jumping on the bed

The Library

Sofia just got her library card through school so last Saturday - after tennis and gymnastics - the four of us went to the Anderson library for a few minutes. I helped Sofia look for chapter books, but Bella totally missed the point. As soon as we got there she settled by one of the computers, and even put her headphones on.

Gymnastics

Bella has been going to gymnastics class for a few weeks now. She is not 100% comfortable with the first part of the class, where you are supposed to follow the teacher's directions, but she really lights up during the free play part.
