This evening there was a neighborhood party so we went for a little while. There was music, and some organized activities for the kids, so the girls had a good time. I talked to a handful of people, and helped for a little while with the daughter of one of the friendlier neighbors, but then got tired of standing - and frankly also a little bored. So I was the first one to come home. While Lionel and the girls were still there I had a bit of quiet time. I could still hear the party - since it was outdoors and only 2 doors down - but I was happy and comfortable sitting back at home. I can hang out forever when I am with close friends, but this was not my #1 crowd.
