Bella started doing indoor track after Thanksgiving, and today they had their first meet. It was supposed to be a practice meet, but it was essentially like the real thing. She is running the 300 meters, and only ran once. But while waiting for her to run we got to see several of the races. There were some really fast kids. Bella's time is not too bad either at just under 48 seconds, especially since she is new to this. The other day she came back home happy because her coach told her that was Varsity time, which is a good thing. And doing indoor track gives her something to do, and something to be part of, which is also good and much needed right now.
