Cooler but muggy run

Today was a cooler but muggy run. Fall marathon training is starting, and the schedule called for 5 miles, but I pushed for 6 because with our upcoming vacation I am not sure how many runs I will be able to get in. I started slow, and was mentally prepared to be above 10 minute miles, but I actually ran faster the second half.  I also ran with the running group. I don't intend to go back every week, but perhaps once a month would be good. And I will definitely join them for the longer runs.
