This afternoon we had a picnic with some old friends who used to live here, moved away, and are now back in town. We have known each other for over ten years now - it is crazy to think it has been that long. We came back from the picnic at around 5:30, changed, and went straight to the pool because today it was a special event where they bring some giant inflatables for the kids to do slip-and-slide. The daughter of some friends who were also at the picnic came with us, and luckily all 3 of the girls played nice the entire time.
After the pool we came back home, had dinner, cleaned the kitchen a little bit, and were pretty much done for the day. I can't believe all the stuff we cramped into the weekend. Maybe it is not a bad thing that tomorrow I get to go to work and sit at my desk all day.
