This evening we had the office Christmas party at restaurant/bar nearby. It was less than a 1 mile walk. You could dress up if you wanted, and some people did, but I did not have time (or intentions) to go all out with that. I did bring my reindeer headband, so with minimal effort I did look like I was participating and joining in the Holiday spirit. And while many people are still new to me - especially since they are not coming to the office that often - I think I did a good job mingling and walking the room.
