Jul 13,
Tonight we had dinner at a place called Gegeor and it was very good. It is probably my favorite one so far, followed by our last dinner in Strasbourg. Our reservation was originally for inside, but it was hot and stuffy and luckily we were able to sit outside where there was way more air flow.
After dinner we took the subway to the Eiffel Tower because we wanted to see it all lit up at night. Obviously we were not the only ones with that idea so it was crowded, and you had to get crafty to get a good spot - which we did. We took a couple of family pictures and then a bunch of the girls, because it takes a while for them to get a photo that they both really like. While the lights are on the entire night, they only sparkle at the top of the hour so we waited for 11:00pm. And we made sure we held on to our spot to have a nice view. Lionel just patiently waited.
After the Eiffel Tower we walked back to the apartment, which was about a 25 minute walk. While it was basically 11:30 by the time we came back, you would have thought it was 8:00pm with all the restaurants still full, and plenty of people walking around. Tomorrow is a Holiday, but I am pretty sure it is always full like that Holiday or not.
