This morning I really wanted to go to the Krohn Conservatory as a family, to see the Christmas Poinsettia exhibit. But the girls disappointed me [and upset me] very much because they complained about it and told me how boring it would be. Considering how much I do for them, day in and day out, I think it was very selfish of them to complain and act that way ... and on Christmas Eve! After that I no longer wanted them to come with me, so only Monique and I went. The exhibit was really nice, so the girls missed out. Afterwards we went downtown to have a nice, quiet lunch at Palominos before we headed back home to get ready for the night.
