The Flying Pig was this morning, and we couldn't have asked for better weather! It was a bit cold at the start, but it was perfect for running. It was a sunny, clear blue sky. It was also my 5th consecutive year participating in the Flying Pig, and my 9th Half Marathon. I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to run the whole thing, because my right leg is not 100% and had been cramping during the longest runs, but I managed to hang in there. In fact, I had a much better time than I thought I would. I did not have a PR this time around, but that was Ok. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed the run, the camaraderie of the running group, and overall atmosphere.
