Day 70 - Strasbourg, Hello again!

Today we took a day trip to Strasbourg, Lionel's childhood home. The last time he visited was 12 years ago, the year after our wedding and way before having kids. He was looking forward to seeing his old surroundings and sharing them with the girls. Unfortunately Bella behaved terribly - we assumed she was tired - so the visit wasn't as lovely as we would have hoped for. In fact, it was kind of a rushed, stressful affair. She kept complaining that there was something in her feet that was hurting her, even though we couldn't see a thing. That was frustrating to say the least.

When we arrived in Strasbourg we parked the car, walked around town, had lunch, and visited La Petite France - the old part of town by the river. We then went back to get the car, to drive to where Lionel used to live when he was a kid. Bella fell asleep in the car, so I stayed with her and only Sofia and Lionel got out of the car to take couple pictures in front of his old apartment building and school before heading back.
