Today was the very last swim meet for the summer Stingrays: Champs. It was all the way in Union Kentucky, about 40 minutes from home, so Isabel took them directly and I met them there. It was incredibly hot, the hottest swim meet we had all summer, and it probably didn't help that the meet was between 2 and 6 pm. It was so terribly hot, that my face was literally dripping sweat just standing there. For once, I wished that it was me having to jump in the pool.
The kids didn't seem to mind the heat though, and happily finished all their events.
