In the afternoon Bella's school had a Back to School Picnic at a local park, and she really wanted to go, so I took her for a little while. She was hoping to see all her friends, but either they didn't make it or had left by the time we got there. Still, she saw a couple of them and happily ran around for the better part of an hour while I talked to a couple of parents. I was actually really tired, but not too tired to be unfriendly.
