Today it was Bella's turn to plan the activities for the day. She chose to have lunch downtown and then go to a park, but the weather forecast was not good. So instead she chose to go to the Nordstrom Cafe and walk around the mall. Lionel was not particularly excited, but it was not his turn to choose. The Cafe was kind of crowded, and the server warned us it may take a little while to get our food, but we entertained ourselves playing an educational game on my phone.
After lunch we went into a bunch of stores, got some clothes for Sofia, and went to the Lego store - where Bella really wanted to go. She didn't have enough money to buy anything, so - teaching moment - we encouraged her to save up her allowance and come back another day. We did buy her the cinnamon pretzel bites she wanted, as that seems to be part of our mall experience every single time.
When we came back from the mall Lionel was exhausted, which was kind of funny to see. I guess the whole mall experience kind of sucked the life out of him.
