Tonight Bella and I went out for dinner with Mariana, the Colombian new hire I met at work, and her mom. Her mom was in town visiting for the weekend, and wanted to meet me and Bella. We went to a place called La Fabrica Central in Cambridge that had live music. So after dinner we stayed and Mariana was teaching Bella how to dance merengue - or maybe it was salsa. I don't really know the difference.
Bella had a great time, which she definitely needed. I had a great time too, and was happy to see her overarching Latin culture lifting her spirits.
