The first thing we did in Paris, after leaving our bags at the apartment and resting a little bit, was walk to the Eiffel tower to take our family pictures. It had been 6 years since we last came to Paris, and the girls have changed a great deal, so I was happy to add to the over-the-years collection. We then walked to the Arc de Triomphe, and considered going up, but there was a long line and the girls didn’t want to deal with it because it was so hot outside. So we just walked by, took a couple of pictures, and walked back to the apartment to get some relief from the heat. We are so, so happy to have air conditioning in this 90s heat.
