Copenhagen - Day 2, Part 1

We are currently taking a break from day 2 at Copenhagen. The guys went out to grab a beer and the girls are watching a movie, which translates into quiet time for me. The weather is a lot cooler than yesterday, when everybody was walking around in shorts and sandals. I guess the weather around here is just that unpredictable. So we all put on our jeggings, our jackets, and headed out for brunch and to walk around the city.

We grabbed a typical Danish brunch, which was pretty good. Yogurt, pancakes, smoked salmon, cheese and bread - among other things. So nothing we haven't had before, just a different way to mix it all. We then went to the Round Tower, which dates from the 1700s. After that we went to a local park, where some families were having a picnic despite the cool and windy weather.  For someone who gets to enjoy really hot weather for at least part of the year, that was a funny sight. After another walk, we headed back home. The girls didn't lose a beat, and immediately headed right back out to ride their bikes with the guys. So Elizabeth and I took the opportunity to walk to a closeby museum in the meantime. We were not gone for long, but was a nice "me" time.

Tonight we are going out for dinner, but I don't think we have decided where just yet. As I was writing this Bella fell asleep, so hopefully she will be rested and well behaved.
