Day 6 - Other people's news

I have just learned that a colleague from work lost her mom this week after a long battle with a disease, and another peer lost her unborn baby after making it half way there. I can't imagine their pain...

Hearing devastating news like this further reinforces how lucky I am to have my family - not that I didn't know it before - and how I am absolutely doing the right thing taking this time off to enjoy our time together now that we can.
